Who are the Friends of Koko Head Elementary School? We all are! If you have a loved one attending, working or graduated from Koko Head Elementary, you are a Friend of Koko Head Elementary!
As an organization, we support Koko Head’s teachers and staff by raising funds year round to finance our International Baccalaureate(IB) accreditation, Physical Education, Music, and Hawaiian Studies for our keiki. Additionally, we may fund other school supplies, fun activities, technology and other supplemental items critical to our children’s education.
In the last few years, we have been able to donate a playground structure, 1 to 1 laptops for grades 2-5, water purification stations, new super-sized fans for the cafeteria, and much more. We are always interested in ways we can promote a more positive learning environment for our children.
Our budget for this year is below. We are seeking to raise approximately $48,000 to cover our commitments for the 2019-2020 school year, which works out to a little more than $175 per student. We have three big events to help us reach this goal:
Please see the Other Ways to Help page for more information on these and other fundraising activities in our efforts to provide a healthy and positive learning environment for our keiki of Koko Head Elementary.

We meet once a month, usually on the first Tuesday of each month from 8:00 – 9:00 am in the school cafeteria. Occasionally, scheduling conflicts may require a change in meeting dates so please be sure to check below for the latest schedule.
Our meetings are relatively informal and are used to provide updates and status on our ongoing fundraisers and events. We are always looking for more Friends and welcome any suggestions from the community, so please come with your ideas!
